I liked the quiet calm. It seemed like the bar was unconsciously split, oldies one end and young the other, it struck me as a place for all types of groups and families. I liked that. The food was great. I ordered Prawn Salad as a main and it brought me straight back to childhood on summer evenings. Staff are lovely and I will definitely go back, maybe sooner than later, with no heat in my house and snow storm forecast.

Great Sunday lunch, home cooked food, lovely atmosphere, nice staff, if you go home hungry it's your own fault. Generous portions, nicely presented and served in a friendly manner. Nice for a drink and a dance too

Had beautiful dinner for us both today and absolutely loved it , tasty and delicious in a warm cosy friendly atmosphere. Really good service and value. Definitely recommend .

This is a lovely hotel that I would certainly stay in again if I was visiting Templemore. What I liked most was that breakfast is served until 11.30am at weekends and check out is at 12pm. Many hotels these days have much earlier times for both of these. In fact, what makes this hotel great is that is retains many of the good services etc. that have traditionally been associated with hotels, but have disappeared from many big hotel chains over the years. Our room was cosy, the beds were extremely comfortable, the shower was hot, breakfast was tasty, the staff were so friendly - I highly recommend the Templemore Arms!

The place is spotless, the rooms warm and comfortable. The staff are friendly. food and pints are lovely We will definitely be back. Good location in templemore and near to the garda college. plenty of parking and view of the car park. Also lovely showers and clean facilities.

Staff are always polite and friendly. Excellent service and nice food. Good selection of choices on menu and good value. Tables are clean and no marks on cutlery or glasses. Profiteroles are the best I ever had anywhere. Central location in town and toilets are spotless. We had funeral meal there last year and staff were very helpful catering to everyone needs and made a difficult situation as easy as possible for us.

nice hotel was at a family function at the hotel staff were friendly and helpfull only fault was the bar wasn't open in the function room so had to walk around to the bar at the front food was good pints were good all in all a good experience loads of saving private ryan pictures
